Hello and welcome to another edition of Arewahub apps and games review, where we showcase and bring to light some of the best apps and games that can add value to your daily lives.
So without further ado, let us see which application do we have today...
HayyaAlasSalah
Mute your cell phones during the times of prayers
Want your smartphone ringer to go silent whenever its prayer time?
Well, this simple Android app does the magic for you. You can set the prayer timings once (or change them as required), and the app takes care of the rest, silencing your phone and returning ringer volume to normal.
This easy-to-use app was developed by a young pakistani android app developer, Faizan Ahmed, below is the excerpt from the apps' google play download page.
"HayyaAlasSalah is an android application that automatically mute your smartphones during the time of prayers. All you have to do is set the timings of your prayers and the application will do the rest for you. It will mute your cell phone whenever a prayer starts and will unmute it whenever a prayer ends. Lets make our mosques free of ringtones' noise."
How Does the App Works.
1. Immediately after installing the app from the google play store. Kindly launch the app, you will be welcomed with a page showing all the five compulsory prayers (namaz).
2. After that just tap on any of the five options and it will take you to the next screen. (for the sake of this review, the last option was chosen which is salatul Isha).
3. After selecting the fifth option, which is salatul Isha, the user now has the above screen on his smartphone and is left with two choices, when to turn off the ringer and when to turn it on again.
Suppose we want to adjust the timer to start at 7:30pm and stop by 7:45pm.
In essence, we are instructing the app that the starting time for switching off the ringer is exactly 7:30pm and it should end the session or restore the ringer by 7:45. Sounds logical huh?.

The timing can be adjusted by swiping the hands of the clock, once you have inserted the custom time to start and stop the apps' session, just press the enter button.
Some notable points to consider.
1. The app is available only on android platform.
2. The app is just 2MB.
3. After setting the timer, kindly press the home botton, to minimise the app, if you press the back key, you will close the app.
4. The app has two clock modes which are 12hours am and pm, and 24 hours system to choose from.
5. You can insert the phone into silent mode from the apps "self mute" and restore it using the "normal" button.

With this 2MB android app say good bye to lousy ringtones during prayers time and increase your God consciousness and piety by muting your cell phones during the times of prayer.
